Mason sign to Hot Streak Publishing

Amsterdam duo Mason have just completed a publishing deal with Hot Streak Music. The relatively new company is run by ex Chrysalis A&R Lucas van Slegtenhorst and have a growing roster of both Dutch and international signings.

Big Fish Little Fish and Mason are looking forward to working with our new partners and we are already active with several co-writes and synchronisation opportunities.

Wrekitrew Hit South Africa

Big Fish Little Fish project 'Beach Body' by London based Wrekitcrew has been signed to top South African imprint Soul Candi.

This potential Miami anthem has already been playlisted on South Africa's national radio station 5FM
and looks set to grow further when it features on the country's biggest compilation series 'Bump' later this month.

 As interest in this project grows, expect to be hearing this paen to bikini wearing near year at hot spots around the globe.

Mason; I Am Your Bass Friend!

Mason release their latest nugget this week on Herve's Cheap Thrills imprint. The track, entitled 'Bass Friend' is a jackin', dirty slab of disco-tech with one of those annoyingly catchy vocal refrains.

The single comes in two versions, 'For Him' and 'For Her' with the latter being the funkier, and less tough option, not that we are reinforcing stereotypes here!

There are also remixes from The Sneekers and Elektropusher. So far Mason have been making plenty of Bass Friends with the tune and support has come from the likes of Digitalism, Steve Aoki, Feadz, Fake Blood and many other tastemakers.

Corderoy on Oakenfold album

Talented young producer Corderoy has had his latest release 'Mechanical Tears' licensed onto Paul Oakenfold's new mix album.

The album, 'Four Seasons' is a 4 CD boxset representing the various sounds of the man like Oakie and is available right now.

In the meantime Dale Corderoy has just signed a brand new track, 'When Magic Falls' to Dutch based label High Contrast, which will be his third release for the imprint.

Mason mining for Fool's Gold

Mason have released their latest production 'Get It Together' via New York imprint Fool's Gold.

Fool's Gold is the label of A-Trak, a former DMC turntablist and tour DJ for Kanye West. Fool's Gold is now at the forefront of what's cool and happening in electronic music and their Club House series is a showcase of their taste and diversity.

'Get It Together' features the vocals from New York resident Tomas Bell, cut up by the Mason boys and turned into a old school house anthem.

Acid Brazil gets a Juicy release

'Acid Brazil', a big room electro house track by Big Fish artist Dino Psaras gets a full release on Juicy Music this week.

Based in Miami, Juicy Music is the imprint of Robbie Rivera who also provides a storming mix on this record.

Having first seen light of day on Robbie's post Miami Winter Music Conference mix album, 'Acid Brazil' is set to do some damage to dance floors and the Beatport chart alike.

Corderoy new release is a Monster Tune

Big Fish Little Fish's Dale Corderoy releases his latest progressive nugget this week on the UK based Monster Tunes label.

The track, entitled 'Mechanical Tears' features the vocals of Belasco front man Tim Brownlow and was co-written with ex Dogzilla producer Richie Kayvan.

Under the 'Corderoy' guise Dale is rapidly becoming a force to be reckoned with as a producer. He has also recently produced and appeared as vocalist on a track with Judge Jules for Paul Van Dyk's Vandit records.

Our view from the fish tank is the Corderoy is set to be big news over the coming months as this guy
has talent and enthusiasm in abundance.

Mason Go Release Crazy

Dutch duo and BFLF management clients Mason have a bumper crop of releases coming this month.

Its time to come home again for the Mason boys with another double a-side release for their imprint Animal Language. Once again it’s a tale of two very different vibes across this digital platter.

 'Scaramouche' has been a Mason live show opener for the last year and has hammered several major festivals this summer. With its slight Italo stylings, choppy staccato riffing, stomping bass pushes and epic melodic break  'Scaramouche' is the theme to an 80's animated sci-fi series that never was. 

Next up the boys have 'Get It Together' being released on uber trendy New York imprint Fool's Gold. The track will feature on the latest Clubhouse album complied by A-Trak, the labe's head honcho.

Next up is Mason's first release on Herve's Cheap Thrills label. The track entitled 'Bass Friend' is a filthy little disco-tech number and will see light of day in late October.

In the meantime Iason and Coen are holed-up in the studio writing tunes and preparing for their hometown invasion when the Amsterdam Dance Event comes around. 

Tim Jirgenson signs with Swedes

Sydney based producer and DJ Tim Jirgenson has signed his latest track, 'Yes Yes' to Swedish label Clubstream.

The young Australian whose output has been supported by the likes of Paul Oakenfold and Carl Cox  is one of the latest talents to be picked up on by Big Fish Little Fish.

'Yes Yes' is set for release on the 25th October and comes with a blinding set of remixes from The Sloppy 5ths, Chris Valencia and the Desusino Boys.

Bleach Feast for Clive Mead

Brighton's Clive Mead wears many hats when it comes to production, from movie soundtracks, downtempo grooves & beats and club bangers for several UK labels including his local label Skint.

His latest release comes on Tech/deep house label Bleach Feast. Flute Fly takes a deep, almost Murk-like groove and imbues it with a mega infectious piece of woodwind that even James Galway would have been proud.   With an extra smatter of sexed-up vocal and moody hammond, Flute fly sounds like St Germain on a tour of the Reeperbahn.

 Anglo-Moroccan outfit Dubb Disko take Flute Fly down a stripped, darker path creating a beautifully atmospheric piece of deep house.

Never afraid to keep it varied, this is the latest of a string of summer releases for Bleach Feast.

Camelphat release on Nervous Records

Liverpool based deep house act Camelphat release their first EP via New York imprint Nervous Records this week.

The 3 track EP is headed up by 'Watergate' a track which has seen support from the likes of Mark Knight, Hernan Catteneo, Alex Niggemann and Yousef.

The package is completed by 'What I Need', another summery slice of deep house as well as a remix from Life+ on 'Watergate'.

The lead track already featured on Ibiza resident Ron Seikaly's 'Nervous Nitelife' album earlier in the year.

Mason signs Animat to Spinnin'

Mason have signed their latest single 'Animat' to Netherlands based label Spinnin'.

The boys have further explored the merging of big and bold melodic hooks with epic club dynamics, almost returning to the bigger room sound from whence they came.

Animat sounds as catchy as it is energetic, making it a peak time electro assault weapon of the highest calibre primed to lay waste to many a club and festival in the next few months.

Mason & Marcos Valle's Italian Job

Italian house imprint and Ego sister label, Hysterical have signed Mason's collaboration with Brazilian legend Marcos Valle.

The latin infused anthem called 'Solarium' was recorded between Amsterdam and Rio de janeiro earlier in the year and was made specifically with beach volleyball and blue coloured umbrella decorated cocktails in mind.  

Hysterical and Ego head of A&R Matteo Esse remarked that "to have a record with both mason and Marcos Valle is a big thing for the label. This is a surprising record for 

Mason but it proves that there are many sides to what the guys do. To have a record with Marcos Valle, a guy who has been recording since the 60's is pretty special"

'Solarium' has already enjoyed support and great reactions from the likes of Sneak, Ashely Beedle, BeatauCue, Sinden, Roger Sanchez and Shir Khan. Meanwhile new remixes

are expected in the next few weeks.

Mason Remix Steve Aoki

Mason have remixed Dim-mak label boss Steve Aoki's latest  release 'Steve Jobs'. The record, set for release on Ultra Records this week is a collaboration with Angger Dimas and sounds pretty biiigggg!!!

The Dutchmen have turned out a great mix on this, utilising the gameboy type hook and adding their usual craziness to the proceedings.

Meanwhile the boys are working on new tracks for the Summer. There are some pretty hefty tunes on the way!

Big Fish Little Fish supplies Juicy Music

Big Fish Little Fish have signed 'Acid Brazil' by D-Moss & Dino Psaras to Robbie Rivera's Juicy Music.

The track by the Brighton based producers has been picked up by the Miami based DJ who flipped out about this monstrous slab of knarly big room house music.

'Acid Brazil' has already featured on Robbie's special Miami label compilation and remixes are on the way.

Mason release Loopmasters artist series album

Mason have released an artist series album through Loopmasters, one of the World's most respected labels for production samples.

The album entitled 'Analogue Farmhouse' utilises the Dutch duo's love of all things analogue, warm and squelchy generated from their unique modular wall as well as banks of old synths hidden away in their Amsterdam studio.

As the blurb on the packet says, Mason's Analogue Farm House is is a collection of organic, free range hits and loops as fresh as a newly laid egg and as solid as an old tractor!
